In a 2016 GameStop commercial, I heard something about "when you gotta trade games, there's only one place to go." No, there isn't only one place to go. At all. This is complete bullshit. It's brainwashing bullshit. This TV advertising is why people think they have no other choices when it comes to video games. Looking for big-box trade? Target, Best Buy, and even Wal-Mart do game trade-ins, now. Amazon even does it. So, how does this equate to GameStop being the "only one place to go"? It doesn't. Wake up, people! GameStop is not the end-all of video game retailers.
