The team behind The Wonderful 101 worked on many other, high profile titles in the past. The influence of those titles can be seen in almost every aspect of The Wonderful 101's design. It's trendy knowledge that Platinum staff came from Capcom and internal Capcom team Clover. This is seen in the Team Wonderful and Team Viewtiful parallel. However, some may wonder what Dante and Devil May Cry references are doing amongst Viewtiful Joe parallels. It's because Devil May Cry cameos in the form of Dante and Trish were in Viewtiful Joe - A New Hope, which counts as a game in the Viewtiful Joe series referred to in this work. At first glance, some may be wondering what Viewtiful Joe game this is, when, and/or where it came out.
