PLAYSTATION 4 BAD STREET FIGHTER V: ARCADE EDITION

If you still believed in having arcade modes in your fighting games, you were a simpleton behind the times. What were you thinking, you fucking idiot(s)? Who cares about speed runs or high scores? Who needs them? To be elite, it was determined that you need to see fighting games as mere tools to make money, and tournaments are the only reason to play. All you need is Training mode and The Grid stage. Who needs inspired, lush backgrounds populated with lively onlookers? The only thing that matters is winning, and nothing else. Artistic talent and expression be damned. To put it simply, the outrage social mob media bashed Capcom for not putting an arcade mode in Street Fighter V when it was the establishment media they always been a part of that made Capcom take it out of their games! It comes as no surprise now that the usual suspects who were shills then steadfastly remain as shills even now. How many of these establishment media holdovers have infiltrated YouTube?

It may surprise (or enrage) you. Thankfully, there are still some of us who remember that history repeats itself, and we call bullshit on the same shit they pull today. The media has proven that they will criticize Capcom no matter what they do. Let's break it down for those who are visual learners...

  11
  AT LEAST
They found a way to put the shitty Grid stage into the story.

  12
  IS THAT
  Socialism?

  13
  THE
Grid determines who is hard-core and who is not, so get used-to it.

  14
  ZEKU & ABIGAIL
Previously-unplayable in SFA2 and made playable in SFV.

  15
  A DREAM
Battle that never too place in Street Fighter III.

Damned if they do:
Capcom includes arcade mode in their fighting games.
= Criticized.

Capcom doesn't include arcade mode in their fighting games.
= Criticized.

Damned if they don't:
Capcom includes arcade mode in their fighting games.
= "Finished", but bad.

Capcom doesn't include arcade mode in their fighting games.
= "Unfinished", and bad.

  16
  ANOTHER
Dream battle from Street Fighter III made reality in Street Fighter V.

Capcom cannot win. Period. Which is why it is all the more baffling why they continue to pander to these groups; groups that do nothing but hurt their bottom line with incendiary, baseless, constantly-changing criticisms. Their criticisms are always determined by a shifting goal post. The proof of this drifts to the surface like a carcass in Tokyo Bay. The same ones who bashed Capcom fighting games for having arcade modes back in the day still bash them now for not having arcade modes. Let that sink in. Though Capcom doesn't want to admit it, they are damned if they do, damned if they don't. Perhaps there was a time when they didn't give out enough free copies of games, or didn't pay to influence positive reviews. Either way, they need to acknowledge the fact that the media is not on their side, and hasn't been for a long time. With all the damage the social media mob has done even when Capcom tried to please them, perhaps it is time for Capcom to stand up for themselves and ignore them. They'd be better for it.
