If you still believed in having arcade modes in
your fighting games, you were a simpleton behind the times. What
were you thinking, you fucking idiot(s)? Who cares about speed runs
or high scores? Who needs them? To be elite, it was determined that
you need to see fighting games as mere tools to make money, and
tournaments are the only reason to play. All you need is Training
mode and The Grid stage. Who needs inspired, lush backgrounds populated
with lively onlookers? The only thing that matters is winning, and
nothing else. Artistic talent and expression be damned. To put it
simply, the outrage social mob media bashed Capcom for not putting
an arcade mode in Street Fighter V when it was the establishment
media they always been a part of that made Capcom take it out of
their games! It comes as no surprise now that the usual suspects
who were shills then steadfastly remain as shills even now. How
many of these establishment media holdovers have infiltrated YouTube?
